Social Tables on Reddit: what users say.

Social Tables Reddit threads are mostly about room layouts and seating, posted by event planners and producers. Six are summarized here, with what Social Tables publishes on price and commitment and what its pages say about the Cvent and Prismm names.

What do people on Reddit say about Social Tables?

Event pros in the threads Google showed on October 27, 2026 call Social Tables easy to use for room layouts and seating. One planner asks whether others dislike the move from Prismm, and a thread from eight years ago calls it expensive and limited. Most posters are planners and event producers. Six threads is not a vote.

6 Social Tables Reddit threads, in plain words

These are the threads Google listed for the search "social tables reddit" on October 27, 2026. We paraphrase them, and we did not browse Reddit itself, so open the threads to read the full replies. For more, search Reddit for Social Tables.

The search snippet for the Prismm thread shows one planner's question and no replies, so we cannot say what others think of the move.

WhereWhenWhat it says
r/EventProduction 1 year ago A reply recommends AllSeated or Social Tables as friendly drag-and-drop layout tools with scalable rooms and furniture.
r/EventProduction 1 year ago A reply calls Social Tables the best tool they found, and notes it automates table numbers and assigned seating.
r/WeddingProfessionals 1 month ago A planner asks whether others dislike the move from Prismm to Social Tables as much as they do.
r/livesound 5 years ago An AV company says its account managers make furniture diagrams in Social Tables for clients.
r/weddingplanning 8 years ago A reply says Social Tables used to be really good and is now expensive and limited. Very old, and plans have changed.
r/weddingplanning 2 years ago A couple says their venue had Social Tables event diagramming and made a layout for them.

Read them with two things in mind. Most are old, and software, prices and contracts change. And people who reply to a thread about a vendor are sometimes the vendor or someone who works for it, so look at what a reply says it did, not just how it feels about it.

The 12-month term, square footage and the Prismm move

The pricing page says all paid plans carry a 12-month commitment, in its planner and venue sections alike, and does not address Enterprise. Cvent's Prismm pricing page offers monthly and annual billing and does not mention a commitment, so get the term in writing.

On the pricing page, venue Pro includes 5,000 sq ft of professionally drawn floor plans, Premium 10,000 and Enterprise a custom amount. The Cvent page's table shows "unlimited" for this on some plans and does not explain why.

Prismm's site says it is now part of Cvent. Neither it nor the pages above describes a transition for existing customers.
