LegalRefund policy

Effective

This is how trials, cancellation and refunds work for the MyVenueHQ Venue plan, which Colorado Web Forge LLC sells. It is part of our terms of service. The Free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund.

The short version

  • The Venue plan starts with a 14-day free trial. You pay $0 that day.
  • Cancel during the trial and you are never charged.
  • If you are charged and the plan isn’t right for you, email us within 30 days of that first payment and we refund it in full, with no forms to fill in.
  • You can cancel at any time in one click in the app. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum term.

The trial

You give a payment card when you start the trial, and we charge nothing for 14 days. We show the date of the first charge on our subscribe page and again on Stripe’s checkout page before you pay. In the app, Settings, Your account, Plan and billing shows the date at any time. If you do nothing, the card is charged $49 (monthly plan) or $490 (yearly plan) on that date, and the plan renews on the same day of each month or year until you cancel. Extra venues are $15 a month or $150 a year each and are added to your bill only when you add them.

How to cancel

Open the app, go to Settings, then Your account, then Plan and billing, and press Cancel my plan. Or email hello@myvenuehq.com from the account owner’s address and we will do it. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, or the end of the trial, and you keep the paid features until then. After that your venues become read-only; your data stays, and you can subscribe again. You can undo a cancellation in the same place any time before it takes effect.

Money back within 30 days

If you are charged and decide the Venue plan isn’t for you, email hello@myvenuehq.com within 30 days of your first payment, whether that payment was monthly or yearly. We refund that payment in full, including any extra venues on it, and cancel the plan. We send the refund to the card you paid with, through Stripe. Stripe starts it right away; your bank usually shows it within 5 to 10 business days. We don’t charge a fee to refund.

After the first 30 days

Renewal payments after the first one are not refunded, and we don’t refund part of a month or year you have already paid for. Where the law gives you a right to a refund, we give it. If we charged you in error, or twice, tell us and we will fix it quickly. Any right you have to cancel under the law where you live stays.

Price lock and price changes

If you start a paid plan before January 1, 2027, we won’t raise its price while the subscription stays active and unbroken. Any other price increase comes with at least 30 days’ email notice, and you can cancel before it applies. Details are in section 3 of the terms.

Tickets and invoices your venue takes

When people pay a venue through MyVenueHQ for tickets, deposits or invoices, the venue is the seller and sets its own refund rules. We don’t decide those refunds and don’t keep any part of the ticket price, apart from the service fee on the Free plan described in the terms. If you bought a ticket and need a refund, contact the venue first; we will help if you can’t reach them.

Chargebacks

Please write to us before disputing a charge with your card issuer. A refund is faster, and we will give it if the policy above applies.
