Planning Pod on Reddit: what users say.

What do people on Reddit say about Planning Pod?
Only three Planning Pod threads in Google results for October 27, 2026 are about the software, and they are mild. Planning Pod publishes no price, so the number comes from a demo. Three threads is not a vote.
3 Planning Pod Reddit threads, in plain words
These are the threads Google listed for the search "planning pod reddit" on October 27, 2026. We paraphrase them, and we did not browse Reddit itself, so open the threads to read the full replies. For more, search Reddit for Planning Pod.
Google also lists Perfect Venue's Planning Pod review. Perfect Venue sells competing software, so treat its price estimate as one side's view.
| Where | When | What it says |
|---|---|---|
| r/WeddingsCanada | 3 weeks ago | A planner who used Planning Pod at an estate wedding says it was pretty good. |
| r/weddingplanning | 3 weeks ago | A thread asking which wedding planning app or website to use, linked to the Planning Pod wedding website. |
| r/nonprofit | 7 years ago | A reply describes Planning Pod as an events management tool for planners and venues, and fairly cheap. Old, and prices have changed. |
Read them with two things in mind. Most are old, and software, prices and contracts change. And people who reply to a thread about a vendor are sometimes the vendor or someone who works for it, so look at what a reply says it did, not just how it feels about it.
What Planning Pod publishes
- No price or plan list is published. The main button is Schedule a Demo. Source
- A one-time onboarding fee is required for all new accounts, and no amount is shown. Source
- After cancelling, fee-based subscriptions are not refunded, in full or pro rata. Paid onboarding and training are not refunded once paid. The terms never say "onboarding fee", so ask whether the required fee counts. Source
- Perfect Venue, a competitor, says most single-location venues pay $199 to $319 a month for Planning Pod. That is its estimate, not a Planning Pod price. Source

Cancelling, your data and what onboarding includes
Per the terms, you cancel in writing: Close Account in the Subscription area, or an email through the contact form. Phone calls do not count. The terms let Planning Pod purge a cancelled account's data at any time and describe no full-account export. Its help center covers exporting an attendee list to CSV, and event dashboards export PDFs.
The onboarding page lists a coordinator, online training, setup of lead forms, BEOs, pipelines and reports, and migration of events, contacts, templates, floor plan templates, menu items and venue spaces. Add-ons are listed apart from the core fee.
