The Free and Venue plans

The short answer

Free covers one venue with 10 events a month, 250 clients and 2 staff seats. The Venue plan is $49 a month or $490 a year and removes those limits and adds e-signed contracts, POS sync and hiding Powered by MyVenueHQ. Nothing is deleted at a limit.

What has no plan limit

Inquiries, the calendar, proposals, invoices, BEOs, floor plans, forms, tours, automations, the Trash and exports have no plan limit. Inquiries never count toward a limit.

The events limit counts events created this calendar month, by the day they were created, not the day of the event. Past events brought in by an import do not count.

What a limit looks like

On Free, Today shows a card at 8 events (“8 of 10 free events used this month”) and another at 10. At the limit, a new event is refused: “Your free plan includes 10 events this month. Upgrade to keep booking, or wait until next month.” The client limit says “Your free plan includes 250 contacts. Upgrade to add more.” The seat limit says “Your free plan includes 2 staff seats.” and applies when a person accepts an invitation. A locked feature says, for example, “Contracts is not included on the free plan.”

What it does not do

  • Nothing you already have is removed when you reach a limit.
  • Converting an inquiry to an event does not check the 10-events limit. Those events still count toward the month.
  • A venue whose paid subscription lapsed is not dropped to Free. It becomes read-only. See Cancel your plan.
  • Free-plan venues show “Powered by MyVenueHQ” on the public calendar, embeds, ticket pages and tour pages. Proposals, contracts and the client portal keep it on every plan.
  • Prices are in US dollars.
