The daily briefing on Today
The short answer
The note at the top of Today says what is on today and tomorrow, which inquiries are waiting and for how long, and which reminders are due. It is written when you first open Today, free on every plan, and uses no credits.
What is in it
- Today’s and tomorrow’s events, with times.
- Inquiries waiting for a reply and how long each has waited.
- Reminders that are due.
- Tentative events in the next 7 days.
- How many other events are on this week.
- For owners and people who can see reports, a money line: payments past due, payments due in the next 7 days and who owes the most.
How it works
The numbers are counted from your records by MyVenueHQ, and HQ only words them. If HQ writes a number that is not in the counted facts, the plain facts are shown instead. A quiet day gets a short fixed line. The note is shared by the team, carries no money, and is rewritten if events or inquiries changed since it was written.
What it does not do
- It is written in English whatever language the screens are in.
- It appears when someone opens Today. It is not emailed or sent as a notification.
- The money line is shown only to the owner and to roles that can see reports.
- HQ rewrites the note at most six times a venue a day. After that the counted facts are shown as plain text.
- If the venue owner has switched HQ off, or you have hidden it, there is no briefing.
