The short answer

Today shows the run of show for today, the week ahead and Waiting on you: new inquiries, due reminders, tentative events in the next 2 days and tours to confirm. Press Ctrl K (Cmd K on a Mac) to search events, forms, layouts, menus and BEOs.

Today

Run of show lists today’s events in time order with the current one marked. Week ahead lists the next seven days by day. Waiting on you lists new inquiries (“Unanswered for” and a Reply button), due reminders, events starting today or within two days that are still tentative (a Confirm button that opens the event), and tour decisions. A Free venue also sees a usage notice at 8 and 10 events.

When the assistant is on, the page starts with its briefing. See Ask HQ a question.

Quick search

Press Ctrl K, or Cmd K on a Mac, or press Search in the left rail. With nothing typed it lists Quick actions (Create event, Create something new, Go to settings), then Recent, then upcoming events, forms, layouts, menus and BEOs. Type to filter: events match title, client name or company. Press Enter to open.

What it does not do

  • Ending holds are not Today rows. They arrive as a notification and an email.
  • Tasks, final counts due, unsigned contracts and late payments are not Today rows.
  • Search covers only events, forms, layouts, menus and BEOs. It does not find inquiries, clients, packages, invoices or tasks.
  • It searches the 200 events with the latest start dates that are already loaded.
  • “Today” follows the viewer’s own calendar day. Times are the venue’s wall clock.
