Notifications and emails you receive as a venue

Plan: Free and Venue Who: Everyone reads their own. Owners and managers send team notices. Checked against the app on

The short answer

In-app notices are in Settings, under Your account, Notifications. Email goes to the people shown in the table. You cannot switch individual alerts on or off. An owner or manager can send a notice to the whole team from Settings, Notifications.

Where to read them

Open Settings, the Your account tab, and look under Notifications. It shows your latest 10 for the venue you picked, with an unread count and Mark read and Dismiss. Under the Venue tab, Notifications in the Automation group lists the latest 50 notices sent to you.

To tell the whole team something, open Settings, Venue, Notifications, type a title and message, choose a kind (Note, Good news, Heads up or Urgent) and press Send to all members. It appears in every member’s list, including yours.

What it does not do

  • There is no bell icon and no push or text notifications. Settings text that mentions a bell means the Notifications list.
  • You cannot turn individual notifications or emails on or off. A form’s Email alerts box sends nothing.
  • A message a client sends from the client portal is saved with no recipient, so no one is notified. Check the portal’s messages yourself.
  • There is no daily or weekly summary email for your team. Today shows a daily note in the app, and event reminders go to clients, not to you.
  • Some venue emails are English only. See What is translated.
  • A failed alert never stops the inquiry or booking from being saved.
